Jaithep is a 3-day music and art festival in the North of Thailand, close to Chiang Mai, and is one of the most progressive and unique festival experiences in Southeast Asia. Jaithep is an eco-minded minimal waste festival where the focus is just as much on workshops as there is on performances.
In 2020 we came back to create the water castle with the 2 mantes making a return as guardians of the castle. The main feature was a 5-meter high waterwheel, driven by the force of falling water and the water being the main driving force behind several features in the stage. 90% of the stage was built with waste materials we found at local scrapyards and dumps.
